With the all new models of the Apple iMac, there are plenty of juicy features that you’ll want to lay your hands on.
They all deliver spectacular image quality that will make it feel like the surrounding world just disappears. The pixel density is so high that you won’t detect a single one when using the iMac. Text in an email and document is so sharp that it’s almost as if you’re reading it from a printed page. Apple have also increased their colour range for the new Retina display and added an extra 25 per cent more colours than their last model, making the images and videos that you’re viewing really pop from the screen and become almost life like.
With the new iMac becoming slimmer than any model previously released, Apple have managed to squeeze their new system into a frame that comes to a point of 5mm at its edge. This makes sure that nothing will come between you and your favourite content. Apple’s new design is based largely on space, speed and performance with the option of a fusion drive for storage. This combines the storage space of a standard hard drive with the speed of the new flash storage. All of your most frequently used apps and documents are stored on your flash storage to make everyday tasks nice and quick while the apps that are used less frequently are stored on the hard drive. The great thing about Apple is that the system learns how you work, making the whole computing experience easier.
To add to the speed, the 27” model now comes with the new sixth-generation Intel Core processor and the latest in AMD graphics while the 21.5” models come with the fifth-generation Intel processors and enhanced Intel Iris Pro Graphics.
The iMac really is an elegant addition to your workspace.
